From an early age Renan’s interest for colour and her swifty character were reflected through her sketches, starting from the very first school years although she chose to study for a degree in Ankara School of Pharmaceutics. Renan has never lost her appetite for art, starting from 1987, she joined ateliers of many masters such as Mine Arasan, Zerrin Ayrıkaya, Bahattin Odabaşı, Yusuf Taktak and Ekrem Kahraman.
During the late 90′s and early 2000’s, she continued her training by participating in mixed and personal exhibitions, art fairs in Turkey and abroad, including two in Florence, Italy and one in Geneva, Switzerland, which resumed that she had already became a professional.
As her ambition for art, passion for success grew, she could no longer hide her energetic and dynamic nature inside, which instinctively reflected on her paintings.
Racing, Formula 1, High-speed vehicles such as Automobiles, Powerboats, Aeroplanes have became Renan’s biggest fascination and focus, concentrating on their shape, colors, speed and the excitement they represent, as she got widely known with her ‘speed, colour, motion’ motto-based works, putting emphasis on dynamism and fleeting movement.
Renan developed a contemporary painting style blending a fusion of vivid colours and light with dynamic brush strokes, with all assertiveness and boldness of her representational work.
She continues her works in her atelier at Balat, a historical Golden Horn district of Istanbul.
